Signing up for this challenge wasn't easy for me. fundraising, traveling alone and taking on a hiking trail are things most people would pause at. Doing all of this while blind is another story entirely.

In the end I signed up because my curiosity, sense of adventure and drive to help people with disabilities won out over the fear, negativity and self doubt of taking this journey on.
