I've created this page because I want to support Above & Beyond's Bristol Against Cancer campaign, and raise money to help make cancer care in Bristol the best it can be. My challenge is based around the number 13,000, recognising the 13,000 dedicated NHS staff working across our hospitals. 

I am going to cross stitch 13 individual small Christmas cards in 13 consecutive days (including week days when I work full-time). I am a keen cross-stitcher but thought this would be a good challenge and would also leave me with 13 cards to share with family and friends this year, to put a smile on people's faces!

Today, like every day, 2,500 new patients will take their first steps through the doors of one of Bristol city centre hospitals. For many of these patients, their journey through the hospitals will be one of the hardest of their lives. I believe every single one of them deserves the best possible treatment and wanted to fundraise to support this campaign. I, like many others, know people who have suffered from cancer and want to do what I can to help people through this difficult time.
