Story

Thank you for taking a look at my JustGiving page.

Over the weekend 18 - 20 September 2009 I cycled with 30 others from London to Paris - a distance of 200 miles in 3 days.

Why did I do this?  My father, Peter Lundie, died of cancer in April this year. He spent the last two weeks of his life in the Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell.  The people and facilities there are amazing - they took great care of him and our family as we came to terms with what was happening.

They also looked after Dad on a number of earlier occasions as he bravely fought his illness.

Apart from a small administration charge paid to JustGiving, every penny that I raise goes to the Charity - I am paying the entire cost of the cycle challenge myself.

Please make a donation - the Hospices get minimal NHS funding, do an incredible job and really need our support.

Thank you

Ben
