Britain has a deep social mobility problem that limits the life chances of our young people and the contribution they can make to the economy and wider society. At Envision we develop the employability of young people, typically from less advantaged backgrounds in disadvantaged communities. We do this by empowering them to take social action to tackle real-life problems in their local community and to raise money for a local charity. So, there's a double benefit the young people develop their own skills and employability, and the projects and charities benefit their local communities. A detailed Cabinet Office funded trial has shown that the Envision programme develops some of the most critical skills for life and work, and so levels the educational playing field and enhances social mobility.

The Envision cycle challenge 2021

2021 will be the fourth year of our popular cycling challenge event. Over 3 days we will be putting brilliant riders fitness to the test with a 210-mile ride, taking on a new route from Buxton, in the beautiful Peak District, to London.
