We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

So, for someone who does not fly well and has terrible vertigo, how else would I raise money for an amazing charity.  The obvious choice of course, a Skydive!!!  If you know me at all, Yes, you know I am mad :-0

Sadly the on 12th August 2023, the weather did not allow me to jump.

However, I have rescheduled for the 17th February 2024 so will be jumping from 10,000ft, freefalling at 120mph through the clouds before gently landing on the ground.  I suspect there will be a fair bit of screaming and swearing going on as well.

Why this, you might ask?  I might be scared, but that will only last a short time, and I know how long for. Nothing like people who are living with the devastation of a Dementia diagnosis.

All monies raised will go to Alzheimer Scotland – Action on Dementia and help support the vital work they do.  Alzheimer Scotland is proud of the work they do to make sure nobody faces dementia alone.
