In memory of Gillian Chadd
Good luck to our amazing London Marathon runners

Story

In the Summer months of 2022 my fiancés Mom, Gill Chadd, fell over at a friends summer garden party and our whole world turned upside down.

We shockingly found ourselves just four short months from diagnosis to death.

However, the good people at Severn Hospice  in Telford where Gill lived out her last days, helped us make sense of this quickly changing world and she couldn’t have been cared for better, in a kind and loving environment.

We never know when life will decide to  deliver a curve ball, but we do know that if it does, places like Severn Hospice are there to support patients and families in the most testing of times.

It is a special place, run by very special people. If you can, please donate to this worthy cause and I will put in the hard miles at the London Marathon so that you don’t have too.

With much love,

And in memory of a much loved lady,

Morag, Simon and Claire xxxx

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 83p directly on care - and use the remaining 17p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped provide more than £9m of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
