Story
I haven't taken part in any sort of fundraising since I was in the Brownies, but I'll be putting my trainers on and walking 23 miles from Glasgow to Loch Lomond to raise awareness and funds for the brilliant charity I work for, Hear My Music. I'll be joined by my (much fitter) colleague, Noanie, and a four-legged friend for the journey and would very much appreciate any donations, big or small, to help soothe the inevitable blisters...
HMM runs amazing participant-lead music sessions for children and adult with complex needs and autism- often those who face the biggest barriers towards participation and communication in our society . The transformative capacity of music is utterly spectacular, and we want to be able to continue to offer our sessions to as many people as possible.
Times are hard for everyone just now, and small charities like ours are continually fighting to maintain regular streams of income- literally every penny you are able to spare will make a profound difference towards brightening the lives of some of the most vulnerable in our communities.
Thank you! // Taing! // Cheers!
