Story
The countdown is on as I am getting myself ready for the Paris marathon this Sunday, 15th April 2012. This 42.195 kilometres (or for the more refined amongst us, 26 miles and 385 yards) is being run in honour of Donald Murdoch, who passed away late last year.
To help me hit my target of £1,500 (€1,800), I'm asking everyone to donate a minimum of £20 (€20) for the Stroke Association. So please dig deep and feel good that you are donating to a very worthwhile cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and pledge your donation now!
