Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor our team: BBC Children in Need gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

In September a small group of us from Wincanton plc, Paul Bagshaw, Paul Sanderson, Simon Smith and Liam McElroy will attempt to climb Mont Blanc in the Alps from the French side.  The mountain stands at 4,807 metres and is the second highest in Europe (Mount Elbrus 5,642 metres).  The climb involves a degree of technical capability and our aim is to summit on 16th September, whilst raising £20,000 for Children In Need.  In the event of poor weather, we have allowed for a contingency day and another peak at 4,200 metres to cover eventualities.

So please sponsor us now, no matter how small.  Every pound would be very much appreciated and bring us nearer to our target!
