Story

What a fantastic day it was. The sun was shining, the birds were singing (somewhere, probably?) and 52,000 people turned out to run the Great North Run 2008.

I had set myself a personal target of 2 hours to complete and gave it my all from start to finish even managing a full blown sprint for the last 800 metres!

I am happy to report that I completed the run in 1 hour 49 minutes and 39 seconds....a time that didn't even enter into my head as a possibility going into the event.

Thank you all for sponsoring me, really, thank you all so much :o)
