Thank you for supporting me to take part in Memory Walk this year and raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society.

In September Lucy, Vanessa , Monique and Simon are taking part in the Memory Walk for The Alzheimer’s society.

Some of you are aware that our dad has Dementia – thankfully its stable and so he is a lot more independent. The Alzheimers society have offered help for the family by taking him on activities such as bowling and offered help to the family.

We’re doing this walk to support the work of the Alzheimer’s society and make people aware of the charity as a lot of people suffer in silence without realising there is help and support out there. This is a fantastic charity – but it can only continue its great work through the help of donations. 

All of the money we raise will help support people living with dementia and their families, so your donation will make a huge difference. 

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more we raise, the bigger the difference it will make.

Vanessa and Monique are going to be walking 10k, this is probably the most Monique has ever walked anywhere! And Lucy and Simon are going to be walking 2k.
