You might be under the impression that I run marathons all the time since I rarely talk about anything else but the truth is I haven’t run 26.2 miles for almost five years!

To mark the fifth anniversary of when you all got bored of me talking about running, I will be participating in my second Virgin London Marathon.

A few weeks later, I will be running the Asics Stockholm Marathon (why talk about one marathon when I can talk about two?)

Both these races are in support of St. John’s Hospice, a local hospice located within the Hospital of St. John & St. Elizabeth in St. John’s Wood.

For over thirty years, St. John’s has been providing high quality hospice care, free of charge, to those living in and around Central, North West London and beyond.

The staff provide specialised palliative care to more than 3,000 terminally-ill patients and their families every year and need our support to continue their efforts.

Five years ago, we raised £3,173. This year, let’s aim for more!

Your donations will directly influence the memories of both the patients and their families in the most difficult of circumstances.

I will be digging deep to complete both these marathons; please do the same and donate.
