Story

I am an animator and illustrator. I love football and coffee. I have a Newfoundland dog named Hagrid and two cats named Batman and Cordelia. I love my husband and my family. I also have endometriosis.

I am on a mission to raise critical funds for the 200 million individuals worldwide with endometriosis. Every dollar counts to adapt endometriosis education to online learning, fund cutting-edge research on treatment and diagnosis, advocate for endometriosis care on the state and national level, and promote disease recognition in our broader communities. Please join me in supporting this important cause.

For extra incentive, the first 20 people to donate $25+ this week (from 12/1 through 12/7) will receive a custom portrait; family member, pets, celebrities, your choice.

My Story:

Finding out I had endometriosis was a bittersweet moment. A first it was wonderful because it meant that there is a name to what had been causing me daily chronic pain. However, there is no cure for endometriosis. With surgery, endometriosis can be removed but it grows back. So everything that is done is meant to help suppress and treat symptoms.

How is that acceptable way of life to live? Sure it's the best we can do, for now. But we need a better option. I need a better option. 11% of American women need a better option.

So that's what I am asking for your help. For my birthday, please consider donating to the Endometriosis Foundation of America. So we can increase awareness and fund research of endometriosis. With that research we can look for better diagnostic methods and overall treatments. And one day, maybe a cure. So women, and young girls, of our future, can live their life to the fullest.
