Story

My name is Ness Riley and Fiona was my incredible cousin, after whom this fantastic Fund has been named. This charity is very dear to my heart and so supporting it in any way is very important to me. Therefore, Joseph (my boyfriend) and I are thrilled to assist the important research happening at Edinburgh University.

We are embarking on the Mongol Rally, which will be an exciting and unforgettable adventure. If you have not heard of the Mongol Rally it consists of driving a 1 litre engine car from the comforts of London to the darkest depths of Siberia – more specifically the city of Ulan Ude. If anyone would like more information on it here is a link to the organisers’ website: http://www.theadventurists.com/mongol-rally

Alongside the lengthy preparations for this trip, our aim is to fundraise a minimum of £1000 for the Fiona Walker Fund and we would greatly appreciate any contribution for such a brilliant cause.

We are both greatly looking forward to the beginning of this endeavour to replicate Fiona’s fiery, cheerful and daring nature on our travels.
