Story
Rufus, Mikey and I are participating in this year's (2019) Mongol Rally. This journey will commence in Kent in mid July, with the finale in Mongolia in late August/early September. This adventure will no doubt have its obstacles - which we fully intend to overcome through background research into car mechanics, first aid and general planning and logistics that surround the rally. There is no set route on the 10,000 mile journey and so therefore we will have to map our own route through 19 different countries. The car itself cannot exceed an engine size of 1.2 litres, it must be small, and it is hoped (by the organisers) that we regularly break down as the rally is most importantly a challenge above anything else - Rule 1, on the Rally Rules, is quite literally "Small and Shit". We three will be on our own, there will be no support offered, it is up to us to survive. As well as our end goal of reaching the finish line, the main goal here is to raise money for the charity Cool Earth. For too long we have abused our planet, and it's slowly dying. Cool Earth seeks to save our planet; save rainforests, animals, and cultures from devastation. Any help is always greatly appreciated. Thank you x
