Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We lost our wee lab/collie Superhero Molly on the 15th of February after a short illness. Molly brought us and others so much joy. She was an amazing Tour Guide at Bannockburn and Stirling Bridge, founding member of Freedom Tour Today and one-half of the Stirling Welcome Team.

Molly loved welcoming people from all over the World to Scotland.

From the little we know, we believe Molly had a good first half of her life in Ireland but an uncertain middle. In 2017, Molly spent 3 months living on the streets of Ireland until the Dogs Trust rescued her. The Dogs Trust in Glasgow cared for Molly and found her forever home. We were the lucky ones who got to share the second half of her life here in Scotland and she made us better people and took us on amazing adventures.

To say thank you to the Dogs Trust for caring for Molly, we have decided to run the Men's 10k Glasgow and Women's 10k Glasgow in June in Memory of Molly.

If you have a few pounds to spare, a donation will help support the incredible work the Dogs Trust do for our 4 legged friends.

Whether you donate now or in the future or not, thank you for reading our story. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Dogs Trust in Glasgow for the wonderful Molly memories you created in our hearts.
