Story
On 11th July 2015, I received a phone call from Cardiff Dog's Home, letting me know that I had been successful in my application for one of their rescue dogs, Molly. She was my first dog and she was the absolute best. She was incredibly loving, incredibly sweet, and incredibly, incredibly dopey. I could not have asked for a better companion. We had the best 8 years together until she sadly passed away on 31st March 2022 after a brief illness.
In Molly's memory, and in thanks to Cardiff Dog's Home for giving me the chance to be her human, I'd like to walk 10km for every year of Molly's life. Between now and her gotcha day, the plan is to revisit some of her favourite walks and explore some new places.
From both of us, thank you for any donation you can make and any share that you can give us. I imagine each one gets its own little tail wag from Bubba wherever she is now.
About Cardiff Dogs Home
Cardiff Dogs Home can take in up to 1,000 dogs each year. Every one of these dogs deserves as much comfort as possible while they wait for their forever family to find them.
At present, the kennels are quite a stressful environment for dogs who can be in kennels for up to 12 months until they find their forever home. The dogs need safe, warm spaces with as much privacy from other dogs as possible to make their stay at the hotel as comfortable as can be while they are at the hotel.
