Story
In 2013 my Grandad, Gordon, was diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's. He battled this horrible illness for 8 years and sadly, in January, his fight came to an end. My Grandad was an absolute hero throughout, always smiling, always caring and on most days always swearing.
The bravery he had, to live with this illness, has inspired me to be brave (or stupid, have yet to decide which) and conquer my biggest fear...heights, by jumping 10,000ft out of a plane (go hard or go home, right?). When I say this is a fear, I am not joking. I literally shake going over Stramongate Bridge (for the southerners in my life, I'll say the Quay Bridge) so this is a challenge I am not looking forward to but one I am willing to do for my grandad.
It would mean the world to me if people could donate anything to this incredible cause so that I can smash the target of £430 and try and beat my sister in being my nan's favourite (doubt it though the child is golden 😉). Thank you so much, and please, pray for me!
