Story
Unfortunately GBWR funding has been cut and we need everyone's help to fill the void. Supporting and sponsoring me on my 365 run challenge will enable GBWR to continue their work and help get the team (which hopefully will include my younger brother Jack Smith) to Tokyo 2020.
Starting on the 01-07-17 I will be running for 365 consecutive days, and I don't just mean the odd mile here and there. My challenge includes many 10km races, half marathons and full marathons. I will be documenting my journey on Facebook and Instagram using the hash tags #mollyruns365 and #saveGBWR. I will be uploading daily pictures and progress reports so please go take a look and get behind GBWR.
GBWR is the National Governing Body for wheelchair rugby in Great Britain. They create opportunities for disabled people to become part of vibrant communities, support a strong membership and club system, and manage the Great Britain national team which participates in events around the world, including the Paralympic Games. They are an inclusive, mixed gender sport which encourages those with disabilities who may feel isolated and alone, that there are opportunities for them in our sport including the potential to gain international honours.
I believe everyone should have the chance to reach their full potential and shouldn't be stopped because of funding cuts. So please help to #saveGBWR
