Story
I've always found I have had more confidence in myself knowing someone else is going through the tough time with me. This is why I want to shave my head for Breast Cancer UK, as I don't want to have to let my Auntie Del go through all of this hardship on her own. When she believes it's time for hers to have the chop due to her chemotherapy treatment, off mine goes. I also believe hair is just something you can use to change your appearance, and people can look beautiful without it. Especially if it shows the strength the person battling something like cancer.
So, if you can donate anything please do. Every little bit helps the researchers in the labs come one step closer to finding the next best treatment. Or even better, a cure. Additionally, Breast Cancer UK also help women who have been diagnosed through their treatment as their mental health is just as important.
If you cannot donate, don't worry there is also plenty you can do to help out. The first being share this page as I'm hoping it raises as much as possible to help this amazing charity. Second, please keep reminding your friends and family to check their breasts, even the men, as everyone can be diagnosed with it. Thirdly, encourage anyone with any signs and symptoms of any cancer to go and get it checked out asap, as the quicker it is diagnosed the easier the treatment.
Thank you so much to everyone who has given this any support, it means so much to myself and my family!
Lots of love, Molly xx
