In July I will be volunteering in India for 10 weeks at Concerns Universe Foundation!

Concerns Universe Foundation is a secular community development project, that encourages sustainable change through education and healthcare, situated in central Bengaluru (formally Bangalore).  Their main aim is to make women economically independent and socially dignified. 

I will be helping by teaching basic English and computing to young women and participating in their pre-school education program, all while living with a host family!

I am volunteering through a charity called Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange an ethical international volunteering charity established in 1993 to work in the field of intercultural learning and youth empowerment.
