Story
In January 2019, on a night in at my salon momma Kells house, we were spray tanning each other when she opened up to me about a suspicious breast lump. I forced her to see a doctor, and she was referred straight away. Within 3 weeks Kelly had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and forced to start chemotherapy asap. Which was the last thing she expected to have lined up for her for 2019.
For anyone who knows Kelly personally will agree with me in saying, we can’t believe how amazing she has been throughout this whole life experience. (Especially cause she normally loves to moan) 🤣
She has just had 6 months of intensive chemotherapy, (before having an allergic reaction to her very last session!!!!!) And now has to have all of her lymph nodes removed, before then starting radiotherapy... and yet she’s still worked so hard throughout all of this to keep her amazing business going.
Kelly’s counting up the amount of beauty treatments/facials and spray tans I’ve accumulated all in time for when her hair grows back so she can have a weekly blow dry from me without feeling guilty. Haha!
Enough of the waffling, but I couldn’t not do the Great North Run this year, when I have such an amazing reason so close to my heart!
So please sponsor me.... because I’m sure I’ll never ever ever ever do it again 🤣🤣🤣
