Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This charity is one very close to my heart, I suffered from a spinal condition called scoliosis for many years. Scoliosis is the curvature of your spine and affects 3% of the population. Mine consisted of two curves, one at the top and another at the bottom. The curves made it uncomfortable to walk and made everyday tasks harder. In 2016 I had an operation to straighten both curves out which consisted of having two rods bolted to my spine.

I am running the London Marathon for spinal research to show that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to, I was told in 2016 that if I don't have the operation, I may not be able to walk in later life. I am running the marathon to show that I can do just that.

I am thankful for any donation that anybody can give :)
