Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for Black Country Food Bank and also, for those who live local to us, collecting donations of food and toiletries which can be bought to our house, or delivered to my Mum's work, which is a Food Bank donation point at H Porter & Sons, 60 South Road, Stourbridge, DY8 3UJ.
I have decided to take on the 2.6 challenge on Sunday 26th April 2020. The 2.6 challenge has been set up to raise funds for charities that would lose out due to the postponement of the London Marathon, which is a huge fundraiser for them, and would have taken place that day.
The challenge needs to feature the number 2.6 or 26 (as in 26 miles of a marathon).
The 26 challenges are:
Cycling, running, walking, shooting basketballs, standing jumps, hopscotch, pogo-ing, skipping, skipping with a rope, cartwheels, Hula hooping, scooting, walking backwards, grapevine (crossovers), star jumps, squats, burpees, plank, sit-ups, push ups, football shooting, badminton rally, swingball, kangaroo jumps (a la Joe Wicks), mountain climbers and stretches.
The distance events will all be 2.6 miles, and the static things etc will be 26 in number.
I'll get my Mum to take lots of photos and videos too - Mummy is going to be doing a half marathon each day this weekend too, as part of her 2.6 challenge.
I'm also working towards my Brownies 'Fundraising' badge too, which I am doing via 'virtual Brownies' meetings :)
Thanks so much for anything that you are able to give.
Love from Molly xxx
