Annecy Challenge 2018 · 4 October 2018 to 7 October 2018 ·

For 25 years, we have organised cycle events, mainly in Europe. We have raised a huge £4,378,361 mainly for cancer, heart and other medical research. We pride ourselves that EVERY PENNY that has been raised has been paid to charity - our participants paying the full fees for event entry themselves.

Story

Its that time of year and I'm afraid we are pestering you again, please feel free to ignore us! Phil, Mollie and two friends Linda and Barry are on their bikes  and are raising money for Virtual Doctors,  an organisation  Mollie is an active member of, as a volunteer for their service  . The Virtual Doctors is a UK registered telemedicine charity and Zambian NGO that uses smartphone technology to connect isolated health professionals with volunteer doctors (in the UK and elsewhere in Africa) who offer diagnostic advice for complex cases, to educate, empower and help save lives.(www.virtualdoctors.org) 50% of the sponsorship  we raise will go to our nominated Charity,  Virtual Doctors and 50% to Challenge Adventure Charity's nominated charities ( the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK).

We will be cycling, in relay, a 510 mile route, starting from Rouen to Montargis, Macon ,finishing in Annecy climbing several Cols en route (10,882 m in total)  It should be fun but again  we will be knackered!  Freddie and Hannah also have 5 teams between them  .Any sponsorship will be very gratefully received, we would like to emphasise that all sponsorship will go directly to charity and not to support our trip.
