Story
This Advent and Christmas season Moldgreen URC has decided to focus on the role
of Angels. We are not just talking about the Angels in heaven, but the Angels that
have been in our communities alongside us throughout this pandemic. Inspired by ‘A
Wing and a Prayer’ in Ripon Cathedral, we would like to invite anyone and everyone
to take part. We have asked lots of people to decorate and make folded Angels to
represent a special person who has been an angel to them. This way we can say a
great big thank you to key workers and to all those who have helped us in the last 7
months.
Angels in all shapes and sizes are welcome! That is what makes up our community
in Huddersfield.
We are aiming to hang at least 500 angels from trees in the church community
garden and to decorate Moldgreen URC Church inside and out.
A major part of this fun project this Christmas, is that we will be supporting the
Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Please make a donation to help continue their important work on the front lines
helping people across Yorkshire
Best Wishes
