Story
The ‘Birthdays for Charities’ initiative inspires young people to give up birthday gifts and instead raise funds for charities they love. It also reduces waste, preventing unwanted gifts from contributing to pollution and climate change.
I started the campaign when I was 6 years old and since then friends, family and more children have joined me - giving up their birthday gifts and raising thousands of pounds for charities they love.
Thank you all for supporting me and donating to a charity I love to support.
I think this is the best birthday gift anyone can give me, when they help me help others.

There are around 10M children and over 300M people in need around the world right now.
If 100K fortunate children from the UK can raise £150 on their birthday, we can raise over £15M/year and make a big difference to the lives of these people through such small acts of kindness and empathy.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
