The effects of the covid-19 pandemic accompanied by extreme poverty, crisis, displacement & flash floods have left millions of Bangladeshi people & Rohingya refugees suffering immensely. They need your urgent support now.

Story

In Bangladesh 1 out of every 4 people are suffering from immense poverty. Countless struggling families, orphans, widows, children & refugees are in dire need without access to the basic necessities required for their survival. Children are amongst those bearing the brunt of the extreme poverty, currently 49% of all children under the age of 5 are considered to be undernourished. 31% of all infants will also not survive long enough to celebrate their 5th birthday. In addition to extreme poverty, the devastation caused by flash floods & heavy monsoon rains further contribute to pushing the region in to deep poverty. As well as causing widespread damage, each year many lives are taken, countless livelihoods are lost & many homes are destroyed. The country is also currently facing a major refugee crisis. More than 745,000 rohingya refugees including 400,000 children have fled their motherland to Bangladesh in fear of severe violence & persecution. They need your support now.
