Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Currently there are around 400 children who attend the Kafr Nouran School. Education means everything to these children. Many children in Syria suffer from psychological problems, some are traumatised whilst others have lost their family members. Many children have aged in looks because of the war. However, it is schools such as these that provide the right support and mechanisms to ensure children enjoy every part of their youth and no child is left behind. Every youth deserves to be free, to have fun, to run around, to laugh and smile.
The Read School, Kafr Nouran is amongst the cluster of schools established by Tauheedul Relief Trust inside Syria. The school provides education and psychosocial support to over 400 children of primary school age. This helps the children deal with psychological trauma due to the exposure to unprecedented levels of violence, horrors of war and loss of loved ones. The children have fled the conflict in their towns and villages and have not been to school for over a year.
The school is playing an important role in securing the future of the children whilst creating employment opportunities for local teachers. There are 23 staff employed by the school. The school has 12 pupils with special educational needs.
It cost £200 to sponsor a Syrian child
