Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Mohammed Rahman and I am a PhD Researcher at Birmingham City University. Fitness is very important to me and I dedicate a considerable amount of time per week to keep active and in shape. More recently I have been competing in charity events to raise money and awareness for the unfortunate.
This June, I will be competing in a charity boxing match to raise money for Cancer Research. I am in training camp right now and I am training up to six times a week (approx 16-18 hours a week), not only to win - but to KO my opponent.
We all know the heartache that cancer can cause, and it is important that charities like Cancer Research are continuously supported, in order to reduce the number of deaths from this illness. Whether or not we like to admit it, there will come a time where one of our friends, family members or loved ones will have to endure this tragic and potentially fatal illness. Your donation, regardless of how small or big, can help save someones life.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
This fight will be dedicated to my nan - who died in February 2015 and my late colleague - Tessa Clarke, who died in December 2014 from cancer.
