Story
I am one of the lucky ones, and if you're reading this, you're likely one too. My luck includes shelter, food, good health and safety. As I turn 30 and look around me, I could not be more grateful for these basic necessities, while being completely perplexed at how rare they are becoming in our world today.
For me birthday, the only gift I could ask for is for you to consider donating to the International Rescue Committee's efforts in Yemen. I would love it if we could raise QR30,000's worth, and I promise to match it.
IRC provides lifesaving emergency aid, clean water and medical care to millions of people in Yemen affected by violent conflict and a growing health crisis.
You can find a lot of information about the current crisis in Yemen and what the IRC has been doing to address it here: https://www.rescue-uk.org/country/yemen
