.The Manta live in Patwakali, Bangladesh and are landless. For 3 generations (100 years) they have lived on their small boats. Alhamdulillah in 2019 we were able to make a huge change by giving them ID cards and a boat school to help educate the young children of the community!

After the success of phase 1 of our project with the community we are moving onto the next. As they have lived in boats all their lives they are facing dangerous weather forecasts such as cyclones storms and much more.  The Manta community are a Muslim community who do not have a prayer space available to them or any facilities for their safety and for the safety of the children.

We will be fundraising to build them a cyclone shelter which will be built over 3 floors that will Include a mosque and a play area for the children

This is a very big project and a project that is very close to me.
