From the South China Seas more than 2,000 years ago to the River Thames today, we are delighted to invite you to this year's NSPCC Dragon Boat
Challenge.
What – Dragon boating is the activity of paddling in a boat
with a team of 16 people, a drummer, and a helm – racing across the finish line
faster than the competition. It is a team sport in its purest form. It
encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronisation and endurance.
Where – The race will begin at the London Regatta Centre in
the Royal Albert Dock (5 minutes' walk from the DLR station) where the Trainers
will get you all set up for the race.
When – This year the race will take place on Sunday 4th
August 2019.
