Story
I have decided to try and raise a bit of money for Notts County FC Football in the Community, because I have seen first hand the kind of work that they do.
Below is an outline taken from their website explaining the work that they are engaged in:
Health: we deliver a range of healthy lifestyle, disabilities, weight management and mental health projects to a range of ages, making a huge difference to participants’ long-term health.
Education: we deliver five education projects and currently educate 50 young people, aged 14 to 24 on a full-time basis in our alternative provision and sports-based courses. From September we expect to have 100 students registered with us.
Social inclusion: we have a range of projects targeting marginalised groups including boys and men with mental health issues; people with dementia; teenagers at risk of crime or already involved in gangs and youth violence; children in care and offenders, among others.
Sports participation: we promote the benefits of sports and activity from a physical, mental and social point-of-view and work with people of all ages, abilities and disabilities to increase sports participation.
Further information can be found at their website: https://nottscountyfitc.org.uk/
In addition, here is a link to their charity film which highlights the work they do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UkDE8FSJa8
If you can spare any amount to help them out, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Michael.
