Moderator's Challenge 2018
Fundraising for Christian Aid
Fundraising for Christian Aid
On Sunday 27 May a group of brave runners from the Church of Scotland will join the Church of Scotland Youth Moderator Robin Downie for his Moderator’s Challenge.
Each taking on 26.2 miles, the team face weeks of early morning training sessions as they take on an arduous programme designed to get them over the finish line...in one piece!
All runners in the team share a passion for the work Christian Aid does to end poverty and injustice worldwide.
In a world with such wealth as ours, no one should go without food, shelter, security or any of the other basics we all need.
Christian Aid works for and with people of all faiths and none to promote sustainable development, strive for social justice and pursue a vision of a world without poverty.
They do this by tackling both the causes and the symptoms of poverty so that everyone can achieve equality, dignity and freedom.
