SPEAR is a homelessness charity based in South-West London and this year, we proudly celebrate our 35th year. We know that tackling homelessness is more than just a housing issue. We therefore provide a holistic response to breaking the cycle of homelessness in the London Boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton. Last year, through our accommodation and support programmes, we helped over 1,000 people in their journey away from homelessness.We are still comprehending the devastating impact that Covid-19 has had on people living in poverty. Therefore, we anticipate that our vital support for those who are homeless is needed more than ever.
