Story
Following my diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2022, I am raising money to improve the outlook for others diagnosed with this incurable and UNDER FUNDED disease!
My beautiful friend Aubrey founder of West London Queer Project to kick off Pride month has arranged the following 10K Walk and Celebration’ in aid of Motor Neurone Disease West London Branch.
This walk & day will be for anybody including; children, dogs, family and friends. It will be a joyous occasion with lots of colour and laughter. We encourage you to raise as much of your own sponsorship as you want, with all funds raised on this page being donated to the West London branch of the MND Association who have been supporting me on my journey.
If you cannot do the walk but would like to give a donation then please do so through this page.

The “Walk” will commence at 10am from the picturesque Furnival Gardens in Hammersmith and will take in the sights of the Thames Path through Barnes, Mortlake and Chiswick ending at the Black Lion Pub, also in Hammersmith.
The “Celebration” will kick off from 1pm and will include performances from Ru Paul’s Drag Race contestant Choriza May, the legendary Lola Lasagne and three of WLQP’s favourite performers, Crayola the Queen, Beary Poppins and Luna Cortez.
Pride is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, and how in some places there's still a lot of work to be done. We want this to be a very colourful event so we’re encouraging everyone to dig out those old feather boas, wigs and accessories and to come along and celebrate with us.
Aubrey Crawley founder of WLQP said “This is going to be the biggest Pride Month event that West London has seen in the last 25 years and the biggest event that WLQP has ever hosted.
Joe Leonard Co-Founder of WLQP said: We began our monthly ‘West London Walks’ in February of 2022 and because we’re spoiled for choice on scenic routes, each month we explore a different part of West London and then usually end up in a pub afterwards.
