Story
The Gloucestershire Branch of the MNDA are holding a Walk to d'Feet MND to raise money for the charity to support those locally affected by MND.
The walk will be held on the beautiful Badminton Estate, by kind invitation of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort. The 2km route is fully accessible for wheelchairs. Well behaved dogs on leads and children's scooters are also welcome. A treasure hunt for children is available.
Gates open at 12 noon meeting at the Old Hall. Light refreshments will be provided and please bring a picnic to enjoy.
There is a suggested donation of £10 per head to register with all funds helping support the branch's work. Donation includes entry into the grounds of the Estate and a walk to d’feet t-shirt. When making a donation, please note how many will be attending the event with your party.
If you would like to raise additional sponsorship, this can either be done by donating on this page or by clicking ‘join team’ and by setting up your own linked JustGiving page.
Through fundraising and awareness raising, the Gloucestershire branch support anyone connected with MND within the county by helping with funding essential equipment or transportation and supporting families and carers. We have a team of trained Association Visitors who provide vital support, guidance and a listening ear and also hold regular support group meetings which give people an opportunity to meet with others who are living with the disease and to share experiences and ideas. Details of all of our activities and future events can be found on our website https://www.mndassociation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Your contribution will make a real different to people affected by MND in Gloucestershire. Thank you for your support.
