Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Each year we take part in the Moffat Mountain Rescue Charity Challenge to raise money for this volunteer run charity. This year is their 50th anniversary and they are holding a special edition of the challenge: the Annandale Way, a 55 mile walk across eastern Dumfries and Galloway. See the route: http://www.annandaleway.org/
Daniel and David are walking the whole route, starting at 6am on Saturday 8th June from Annan to St Anns Bridge, camping overnight and completing the walk to Moffat and joining the others to walk up and around the Devil's Beef Tub on Sunday. We'll have GPS trackers allowing you to follow our progress!
Moffat Mountain Rescue Team are entirely run by volunteers who give up their time to help and rescue outdoor enthusiasts who find themselves in difficulty. They need funds to maintain and replace their equipment and vehicles, which are vital in providing their life saving services. Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated!
