Story
There are over 261,000 people in the Ukraine with a learning disability. However, so far very few have reached the borders to find safety. Many are feared to be trapped in war zones or abandoned as refugees flee. Inclusion Europe are working with the VGO coalition and local organisations to provide food, water, medicines, hygiene products, and other care and support urgently required for Ukrainians with learning disability and their families.
On 4th April, alongside our usual music sessions, we will be opening a 'pop-up' coffee shop where you can buy drinks, cakes and small crafts, while listening to live music from MMP Kent.
All proceeds will go to Inclusion Europe/Mencap.
We will also be donating our weekly subs.
