We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Catherine Williams, Andrea Bini, Emma Wilson, Kate Thompson, Charlotte Viljoen, Clare Frost, Kerry Davies, Mary Devlin, Jackie Morton and Debbie Clocherty took part in the Northampton 10k Race for Life. Denise Maud also took part in the 5k on the same day.

Thank you for visiting our page. We have been very moved by a local little girl, Emelia, who lost her battle with cancer during April 2014 - at only 5 years of age. She motivated us to train for and run in this Race for Life. It was a hot and emotional run but wonderful to be part of and all us girls did great! It was lovely having our families there to support us around the course and special that Emelia's father came along too.

Unfortunately everybody knows somebody who has or has had cancer. Please dig deep and sponsor us online on text EMIL67 followed by the amount eg £10 to 70070 - let's help to fight it.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.

Gift Aid it!

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Sponsor us now, and we can become cancer's worst nightmare.

One day we will beat cancer. Help us make it sooner.
