My First Half Marathon
Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
After breaking my ankle just over a year ago, I am back and ready for a challenge! Together with your support, I will be running in my first ever half marathon alongside the beautiful City of London.
This is also my first time fundraising and I couldn’t be happier doing it for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Your kind donation will directly support The Royal Marsden, which is “the world's first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education”.
Unfortunately, cancer continues to affect the lives of so many and, before you know it, even those closest to you. Thank you so much for considering to leave a donation and supporting the Royal Marsden in their incredible efforts dealing with and fighting cancer!
Needless to say, I am extremely grateful for any donation no matter how big or small! You are already a star for reading this and even considering your support. Making a donation is super easy, too. Just hit the “Give Now” button, enter your amount and pay via Apple/Google Pay, PayPal, credit/debit card or bank transfer ✅
If you would like to find out more about the impact of your donation please visit royalmarsden.org/about-us.
Although I haven’t been running consistently throughout the last couple of years, I am committed to getting back into a routine with my personal eight-week training plan, starting this week (06/02/23).
For those interested, check in on this page regularly and follow my journey until race day on 02/04/23. I will be posting updates on each of my sessions every week! (Yes this will include sweaty post running selfies)
Again, thanks so much for your support! This wouldn’t be possible without you under any circumstances.
