Story

9 August - UPDATE
I'm home now, back to work, and things are beginning to return to normal. Even my feet are starting to mend...

I am continually amazed by how much money this page has raised, considering that my initial plan was simply to match the £800 collected for Willen at Mum's funeral. During the walk I was given frequent updates about the rising total, and it genuinely made me walk faster!

Huge thanks to those people who are still finding out about my walk, and putting their hands in their pocket. The cause truly is a worthy one...

________________________________________________________

In July I will be walking the 250 miles from home in Milton Keynes, to St Ives in Cornwall. I'm doing this to raise money for Willen Hospice, and in loving memory of my Mum, Sally-Anne, who was cared for by Willen's amazing staff last summer.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. If you feel able to make a donation, the button should be pretty obvious!

I'll be maintaining a blog website as I plan my walk, and hope to update regularly during it too. The site can be found at:

www.mkstives.org

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It also means Willen Hospice will receive your money faster, and if you're a taxpayer an extra 28% will be added through Gift Aid.

Massive thanks for your support,

Simon
