ONE DEGREE OF CHANGE. ONE LIFETIME OF POSSIBILITIES One Degree mentors and empowers students from less advantaged backgrounds by developing their self-belief and transforming their academic performance.
Following on from the success of similar events last year, some of you participated in our 'K' Challenge for 2021 - doing something that was not only good for your own health and wellbeing, but will support our new charity partner One Degree. Please can we ask that those of you who participated donate your entry fee (recommended £15 per per person) using this site, as well as anyone else who wishes to donate to support the participants or the cause.
One Degree are a charity, made up of teachers, education specialists and professionals, which provides small group mentoring to GCSE students in London. The charity offers low performers personalised support and inspirational role models, encouraging them to believe in themselves and aim higher. This year’s Mizuho EMEA Summer Interns will be tackling the “Intern K Challenge” for One Degree. This involves 4 teams, each aiming to total a minimum distance of 250KM over the course of one month.
