Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please help me to hit my challenge of raising £250 for Diabetes UK. To raise this money, I've given myself the challenge of swimming 22 miles in my local swimming pool over the next 3 months. That means I'll need to swim 1,072 lengths of the 33m pool! If I achieve it, I'll have swum the distance between Dover and Calais, but fortunately avoiding jelly fish, salt water and the need to cover myself in oil!

Update (22/03): So I've had a good day today in the pool with a three-quarter of a mile swim. I've decided to up my average distance to ensure that I reach the 22 mile target by 22nd May. Because I started 3 weeks later than the official start date, I've got to extend my average swim distance to approx. 36 lengths of the 33m pool. I have a long way to go!
