Story
In September 2012, Fujitsu employees chose to support Shelter as their charity of choice. As one of Fujitsu’s strategic partners, Mitie Total Security Management is happy to support this excellent charity and the work that they do.
Dulcie Norris, Head of Charity Corporate Partnerships, Fujitsu UK & I.
“Shelter’s Vertical Rush is fast approaching and we are delighted to welcome ten brave Mitie runners to Team Fujitsu! The challenge is a tough one, covering 920 steps in a race against the clock – but it’s all for a good cause with every penny donated enabling Shelter to better support their service users. We pride ourselves on being the largest corporate team ever entered in the unique event’s six year history, and that success is thanks to organisations such as Mitie who help us bring a strong presence on the day, raising awareness as well as funds for this great charity. Please donate what you can.”
Every 15 minutes a family loses their home – Shelter work tirelessly to help those who feel that they have nowhere else to turn – Team Mitie will power up Tower42 in London in approximately 15 minutes to help raise funds towards the charity's target of £578,000 – enough money to support over 3,300 families in desperate need of help. We aim to help Shelter achieve one of its core values; to provide a lifeline for anyone who is homeless or suffering in bad housing. We can support Shelter do everything in their power to help keep a secure roof over the heads of the many vulnerable and needy families that call upon them in their hour of need.

To keep us motivated as we run up the 42 floors, we would like to raise £2,000 as Team Mitie to make a difference. In partnership with Fujitsu we want to help those who dedicate themselves to helping others.
So please donate as much as you can - and think of us on the 4th March! And if we raise the full £2,000, we promise to put post climb pictures on our page - now it's worth sponsoring just for that!
And thank you to Simon Hawkins - the 11th member of Team Mitie for helping us organise this event!
