Story
Hello and welcome,
You have my eternal thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page.
Most of you reading this will know me. For those that don’t know me, I’m Mitch Long. I’m currently a South Cheshire College student residing in Crewe. I am planning on a career in medicine and have offers for University in September.
In the lengthy gap between finishing my exams in June and enjoying fresher’s week in September I will be embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.
I will be journeying nearly 5300 miles to Nicaragua located in Central America. I will be living and working in a rural Nicaraguan community on a project designed to bring about lasting change for 10 weeks. On my journey I will be helping to tackle issues around education, health, livelihoods, strengthening civil society and protecting the environment in Nicaragua.
I have set up this page as a secure, simple and efficient way to facilitate raising money that will enable to go on my Raleigh expedition.
My target is £800; this money will be used by the International Citizenship Service to send future young volunteers on expedition.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
It’s also worth re-iterating that any money donated via my JustGiving page will not be in my hands, it goes direct from your bank account to Raleigh’s.
Thanks again for looking at my page, please contact me if you have any questions/comments or fundraising ideas.
Mitch.
