Not able to update total on just giving.com right now with offline donation current total is £564!!!!!!! If ...WHEN I finish Robin Gray from LWC has sponsored me £5 a mile do that's £629 heading towards LLR!!!!!

Gez, can't wait to see you. Thank you for your support Bro. Def on the alcohol. Think it might be the only thing that gets me from miles 12 to 13! By Sunday it will have been 4 weeks without a drink ( well all but 2 days!) add Kleenex to the list it could get emotional. X

On 23rd October 2011 I will be taking part in a Half Marathon known as The Great Birmingham Run in an attempt to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Reasearch

LLR are the only charity solely dedicated to funding  ground breaking research into blood cancers. In addition they provide much needed support to patients and families affected by blood cancers. 

Not all blood cancers are the same nor do they behave the same and therefore are more difficult to diagnose as well as treat, this amount of uncertaintity can and does make a difficult time even more so for the individuals affected.

Therefore I hope through my small contribution and your donation  ;o) we can:

- help with the much needed research into blood cancers

- help reduce diaognosis times

- help improve the lives of those who are affected by blood cancers

None of us can protect our loved ones from blood cancers but we can help those who can, improve the lives of those we love by supporting LLR

What your donations will provide:

£50 can buy a full set of patient information booklets to support patients and families affected by blood cancers.

£100 can support a PhD student for one day to conduct vital research into blood cancers.

£250 can buy one week's worth of essential laboratory supplies
