At the beginning of 2012 Nanny was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, sadly in August 2012 she lost her life to the disease. This was terribly hard on the whole family, but did bring  our small family much closer. However, on December 5 2013 my Uncle was diagnosed with the disease.

Steve was a fit 54 year old with his whole life ahead of him, yet from diagnosis only survived 11 weeks. The disease is a silent killer and shows very little symptoms until it's too late. 

Unsurprisingly, there is only a 3% survival rate. To raise awareness and as much money as possible I will be taking part in a trek along the Great Wall of China, with Georgie, on the 25th October - 2nd November 2014

The walk is complete! The most incredible experience. I would recommend this trip to everyone and I would return tomorrow.

I met some inspirational people who I will remain great friends. We shared our horrific stories, we cried, we laughed and we enjoyed nearly every minute!

I will forever continue to raise money for this charity as our family shall never escape what appears to be a genetic disease. Please donate what you can to this terrific charity. X
