Miss Shirley Hayes was a much-appreciated teacher of Domestic Science and Home Economics at The Queen's School for many years. Having been a pupil, she returned to teach and contributed to the life of the School in a variety of ways - through teaching, extra-curricular activities, her commitment to the Living Waters camps and the 'old girls' association.
